One of the reasons we named the company Rally is because we love speed. This summer, we've launched a number of features to help you better control costs and save money.
Here's what we've launched:
DriverLink allows drivers to quickly check in to their fuel card before refueling, using a simple WhatsApp message. By linking the driver's phone number to the card, it unlocks the card for that specific driver. This means that every time the card is used, you know exactly who is refueling, where, and when—no more mysterious clicks or shared PINs. It's easy for drivers (no additional app or login required) and gives fleet managers real-time transparency and control.
Card freezing ensures that your fleet's fuel cards are only active when they're supposed to be. At the end of the day, the card remains locked (frozen) to prevent unauthorized use. When the driver's shift starts (and they've checked in via DriverLink), the card automatically unlocks so the driver can refuel as usual. It's essentially an on/off switch that changes based on the work schedule; no manual intervention is required. This gives you the assurance that company cards won't be misused outside of business hours, while drivers won't notice any difference during their normal workday.
Our new Odometer feature makes it easy to record mileage using WhatsApp. When a driver fills up, they instantly receive a WhatsApp prompt asking them to send the vehicle's odometer reading. Drivers can reply with the mileage on the spot (or right after, once they're safely back in the cab), without any special app or paperwork. Drivers love it—it's that simple: compliance with odometer reporting has increased, since they only have to text us their reading. Every fuel station now has an accurate odometer, allowing you to track vehicle usage and easily detect anomalies (and even prevent fuel theft by detecting irregular readings).
Fuel Insights is a real-time dashboard that shows you where you can save on fuel costs. It gives fleets actionable insights into driver spending and fuel efficiency, highlighting trends and outliers. For example, the dashboard can show that fuel is cheaper at certain times of day or indicate if someone is buying premium fuel at the usual time. With this information, you can help your team adopt better refueling habits and immediately identify ways to reduce waste. Early adopters have given excellent feedback—they say they haven't seen anything like it, and it's already helping them reduce their fuel expenses.
Here are some of the many metrics offered in the Fuel Insights dashboard
We've added a New Expenses page to give you a better overview of receipt and invoice compliance. This page displays all your fleet transactions in one place, along with indicators showing which expenses have been receipted and which are still missing. You can immediately see things like the number of fuel purchases awaiting receipt or the overall receipt submission rate for each driver. Essentially, it allows you to quickly identify potential compliance gaps. No more searching for missing invoices or receipts one by one. By highlighting these issues (and even breaking them down by employee or card), the Expenses page greatly simplifies audit preparation and VAT recovery.

We've enhanced our spending controls with more granular control and improved category blocks. You can now decide exactly which types of purchases are allowed or blocked on each card, including based on specific categories like car washes. For example, if you want your cards used only for fuel, you can block additional charges such as car washes or convenience store items at the pump. This refinement ensures that transactions stay within the approved category limits you set up, and nothing more. This is a major improvement over "all or nothing" controls, allowing you to enforce your fleet policy with much greater precision (blocking unwanted spending without significantly restricting the number of drivers).

Sometimes you might want to prevent purchases from a particular merchant. That's why we now offer Block by Merchant controls. This feature lets you specifically block merchants on your fleet map. If you know a particular gas station or store tends to cause problems (too expensive, not compliant with policy, etc.), you can simply add it to your block list. Any attempt to use the card at that merchant will be automatically declined. It's an extra layer of control that helps you direct drivers to the right providers and avoid charges at places you don't approve of, all with a quick setting in the dashboard.

To master your fuel spending, it doesn't take just one change, but dozens of small, smart controls working together.
With DriverLink records, card freezes, WhatsApp odometers, granular blocks, and live Fuel Insights, your policy isn't just a manual; it appears at the pump, in the moment, for every driver. The result is simple: less waste, fewer exceptions, cleaner books, and a team that spends with confidence thanks to built-in safeguards.
